We Hardly Knew Ye . . .

The most important voice of 20th-century liberalism is I fear not long for this world.

By which I mean William F. Buckley, founder of National Review.

He stepped down from ownership the other day [I'd link to these things, if I were less lazy], citing his "mortality."

The staff at NRO are digging through the archives and I think his obituary is being constructed as we speak.
