Game Short-Circuits Blog

I was going to write a long, funny, insightful, masterly post today, but I got sidetracked by this instead.

You try to set up an electrical grid to light up all the components. Hellishly difficult, especially trying to make the border conductive (which you very much need to do to win)

Great game. Tried a bunch of 7x7 and 9x9 boards, and completed them all. I'm not sure what you mean by making the border conductive? That doesn't appear to be possible.

I work iteratively, first from the power supply out (just to identify any trends that show up early) and then by working from the perimeter inwards. If you choose the nodes furthest from the center, its easier to select the most logical layouts, and the connection to the power supply becomes more obvious.

You scare me, Sir.

The border: I couldn't figure out why the lines with only one connection to it would light up or not.

Can I borrow your brain? Just for a little while?
