These sort of look like my woodworking projects, except that I don't start out intending them to look like that.
They're the work of Judson Beaumont -- the gentleman pictured here, I'm guessing -- and his Vancouver-based company, named (probably ironically) Straight Line Designs, which creates children's furniture (and custom one-of-a-kind pieces and projects for children's hospitals, etc.).
Ominously, there's no mention of prices on the site. If you have to ask, you probably
can't afford it.

Looks more like art to me. I'm sure that there is some degree of functionality to these items.
Compared to what the intellegisa calls art these days, this stuff is pure genius.

Oh, I agree. An artist forces you to look at the world in a new way and this guy is brilliantly imaginative and witty.
