Even if you don't follow American football, you might have heard of Kevin Everett. The Buffalo Bills' tight end suffered a spinal cord injury on a kickoff return. At first it was feared that he would be paralyzed for life, but doctors are now optimistic that he'll walk again, though his career is probably over.
