Canada.com:
Union leaders were on Parliament Hill Tuesday pushing for the federal government to adopt a "Buy Canadian" policy before it rolls out its $40 billion economic stimulus package."We're here today to insist that Canada needs comprehensive rules to ensure governments buy Canadian-made products and services, rules that will support Canadian manufacturing jobs, generate payroll and local spending and ultimately generate tax dollars that come back to the public purse," Ken Lewenza, Canadian Auto Workers president, said at a news conference.
He said a 'Buy Canadian' policy would not violate NAFTA or other trade agreements, nor would it provoke a trade war.
Never trust the financial advice of someone whose IQ is eclipsed by his neck size.
Thanks, Ma!

You are a fool. Your reactionary idiocy is perfectly synchronous with the ruling minority polity you so vehemently propound. Congratulations: you're a shithead.

What does neck size have to do with financial expertise, anyway? If neck size had anything to do with it, one would naturally assume the correlation would be positive. A big fat bastard is a person who likely has little exercise, and a person who spends the majority of their time doing research also likely has little exercise, so the fact that someone has a fat neck is no reason to assume that said person hasn't done their research.
It's a good thing that free speech is a core component of Canadian society, because it allows you to make fucking stupid comments without encumberment and it allows me to respond to them in like manner.
By that I mean that as much right as you believe you have to make the comments you make, you ought to extend to me to respond to those comments, so that anyone who reads yours should read mine as well. That's the essence of debate, of Democracy, of Socratism, of the scientific method itself. If you delete my messages, which has always happened with knee-jerking reactionaries like yourself, then so be it. But you're intelligent enough to understand that doing so would be a bigger victory for me than not, be that victory a secret one.
