Jack, You're Dead

What? Too soon? I don't even get credit for my courageous self-imposed embargo on hand-job jokes? Hmph.

It's actually a Joe Jackson cover of a 1947 R&B hit by Louis Jordan. Lyrics here.

Via Everlasting Blort (who's probably never heard of Layton).

Too soon? Perhaps. But it's not that - more that it's neither funny nor clever. Juvenile humour never is.

"All the breath has leaked out of you
If your friends gather round the bed
And look at you and say "Mm mm, don't he look natural?"
When that happens to you, daddy Jack, you're dead."

I suggest you continue your "self-imposed embargo on hand-job jokes". If the above is any indication of your sense of humour, no on will find them funny.

This is about business as usual for a Quebecer isn't it? Y'know, being a snotty, inconsiderate asshole?

I mean those qualities are pretty much residential requirements for that province.

Business as usual for a Quebecer? Not this Quebecer, nor any Quebecer I've met.

A bold claim made behind the cover of a pseudonym.
