I Always Liked Paul Newman Better Anyway

Globe and Mail:

I want to be very clear that I’m not pointing a finger at the people of Canada; neither is any American I know. We’re all in this together, and that’s the only way we’ll turn it around. We need to stand up, Canadians and Americans as one, to draw the line at tar sands.

Robert Redford speaketh. Encouragingly, he's taking a pasting in the comments.

Jen:

OILSANDS not tarsands.

When the likes of Reford eat their own words then he talk. That is: he abandons anything and everything which is connected to oil which is what he cant do without: he eats, wears clothes, drives a car, fly on a plane, toothpaste, makeup, movie, ice cream, and more. All of which contains oil or grease.
So for Redford and the other environmentalist fanatics to bitch about the oilsands better take a hard look at themselves first.

BTW, Redford, the oilsands is our bread and butter we have mouths to feed so back off and take your sorry self back to Obama who, is killing jobs

Ah, the Celeb has spoken, you nasty Canadians are killing the planet ...

Why don't these idiots stick to what they know, little though it might be, most of it is written for them and they only know how to say what's in the script anyway. You learn a script by heart - understanding it is not required.
