Really good satire. However, there is a serious message: the Left Coast is underlain by or near various fault zones (not San Adreas, however, which runs along the coast of Calfornia and heads northwestward out to sea). Check with the Department of Geology (or whatever its current name is) at UBC - they're keeping a close eye on these things.
