With Two You Get Egg Lorr, Fuckface

CBC:

Beijing's representative in Ottawa says Chinese firms are not involved in foreign espionage and he challenges anyone who says otherwise to produce evidence or keep quiet, in a rare interview airing Saturday on CBC Radio's The House.

Zhang Junsai, China's ambassador to Canada, tells host Evan Solomon, "I can assure you that our companies working in other countries are strictly doing business according to the local laws."

"If you really have the evidence, come [out] with it. If not... shut up," Zhang says in no uncertain terms.

Well, that's certainly . . . um, undiplomatic language. But maybe we should cut the ambassador some slack. I understand that the young Zhang's first real job was in the rough and tumble world of the Chinese clothing trade.

No matter he does make a very valid point in that evidence should be
produced if true. I am not arguing that this is not happening, but I am
one of those who require evidence before jumping on any band wagon.

Hey,there's no need to make fun of the Chinese people's inability to pronounce the letter "R",that sound doesn't occur in their language. I once tried to learn a few words in Cantonese from a Chinese friend, couldn't make a single word sound right to him.

The Ambassador is quite right, if you're going to allege something, then prove it or stfu.

I believe most of the Chinese students and business people who come here to work or for training, maintain a steadfast loyalty to China, and would report anything of value in politics, business or research in Canada, to their government back home or at the nearest consulate.

BUT,I have no proof, none whatsoever,so ,if I was in a conversation with the good Ambassador, would have to ,as he said,"shut up".

Zhang did something I have long wanted to do and that is telling Evan Soloman to shut up.
